For more than four decades, E2 has taken its responsibility to the residential development industry seriously. Beyond the projects we govern and the guidelines we write, we have consistently participated in and supported the professional associations that serve our sector.
Because E2 operates within the development system — working alongside clients and industry partners — we see firsthand how collaboration and open discussion improve outcomes. Our events program reflects that responsibility. Through a series of gatherings throughout the year, we create opportunities for our industry peers to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, share innovations, and strengthen the relationships that support better-performing communities.

E2 Development Forum
Annual / Calgary Studio / Summer
Our annual summer gathering and the centrepiece of our events program.
Held at the E2 Calgary studio, the Forum brings together builders, developers, consultants, and advisors from across our ecosystem to discuss the issues shaping residential development. Structured around small roundtables and working sessions, the Forum is intentionally peer-led. While E2 hosts the event and contributes selected discussions, most sessions are organised and facilitated by our clients and industry partners. The result is a practical and collaborative exchange of ideas around approvals, real estate dynamics, development strategy, product evolution, marketing, and other issues affecting the industry.
The Forum serves as a midpoint in the year — an opportunity to step back from active projects, engage with peers, and collectively explore how our industry can continue to improve.
Format: Small roundtables and working sessions. Peer-led. E2 provides the venue, structure, and facilitation. Invitation-based with open registration.
